David Ferreira is honoured to be elected and entrusted to serve in his first term as City Councillor for the residents of Ward 13 and London. He values mutual respect, hard work, and engaged communication.

David is a resident of Ward 13, and lives in the Oxford Park area with his daughter and partner. He enjoys spending time with his family, friends, and members of the community. David is an alumnus from Fanshawe College and the University of Western Ontario. He holds an Ontario College Certificate from Fanshawe, and a Bachelor of Science (BSc.), Honors Specialization in Biology and a Bachelor of Arts (BA), Honors Specialization in Political Science from Western.  David is also a graduate from the University of York, UK with a Distinguished Master of Arts (MA) in International Political Economy.

As a resident of Ward 13, David is passionate about dedicating his role to the people, the growing communities’, and local businesses in the ward. David is committed to working towards London’s goals for housing affordability, reducing and preventing homelessness, the protection of our environment and watershed, mobility, and an accessible, diverse and welcoming London. David works for the residents of the ward and London to ensure an affordable, sustainable, connected city, that is inclusive and diverse with energetic neighbourhoods, thriving local businesses and community-oriented initiatives.
