Natural Gas Leak – Evacuation of Area

The London Fire Department is on-scene at a natural gas leak in the downtown core area.

Out of an abundance of caution, buildings within a two block radius will be evacuated. Outside of the immediate area, there is no risk to public safety. Emergency crews will continue to assess the situation.

The area impacted by the natural gas leak includes:

• Princess Avenue to the North
• Maitland Street to the East
• King Street to the South
• Wellington Street to the West
