ROAD CLOSURE: Dundas Street between Maitland Street and William Street, December 5 – 16

Dundas Street will be closed to all traffic between Maitland Street and William Street, from December 5 – 16, to allow crews to install new sanitary and water service beneath the roadway.

Transit riders:

Westbound transit will be detoured to Queens Avenue at Adelaide Street North, and will continue along Queens Avenue to Wellington Street. Eastbound traffic will be detoured to Dufferin Avenue at Colborne Street, and will return to its regular route on Dundas Street at William Street.

Cyclists:

Westbound cyclists are advised to travel around the closure by taking William Street to Queens Avenue, returning to Dundas Street at Maitland Street. Eastbound cyclists are advised to take Maitland Street to Dufferin Avenue, returning to Dundas Street at William Street.

Pedestrians:

Navigational signage will be provided to guide pedestrian traffic around the impacted area.

Motorists:

Westbound motor vehicle traffic will be detoured to Queens Avenue at William Street, returning to Dundas Street at Maitland Street. Eastbound motor vehicle traffic will be detoured at Maitland Street to Dufferin Avenue, returning to Dundas Street at William Street.

All businesses remain open and accessible while the closure is in place.
