LMLIP Statement

Following the brutal and sad attack on a Muslim family on June 6, 2021 in London, Ontario, on behalf of the London & Middlesex Local Immigration Partnership (LMLIP) the LMLIP Co-Chairs issued a statement along with information on a June 11 event that the LMLIP is participating in.

Capacity and Inventory Reports

The primary goals of the LMLIP are to strengthen the capacity of the community in serving and integrating immigrants, and to enhance delivery of integration services to all immigrants. Findings from publications in 2016 and 2022 can be found below.

Leadership & Mentorship Inventory

Programs for youth, adults and seniors aimed at encouraging leadership and offering mentorship are amongst the resources listed in an inventory compiled by the LMLIP Inclusion & Civic Engagement Sub-council.

 

 

Civic Engagement Handbook

The Civic Engagement Handbook provides immigrants with information on how to become involved in the community and decision-making processes. It has been adapted from “Civic Engagement for Immigrant Women” produced by Calgary Immigrant Women’s Association.
